It really started with a simple thought. Evolve a passion into a service.

After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Applied Economics & Management, accepting a job in technology investment banking felt like a natural next step.

Fast forward a year later, with PowerPoint aesthetics and Excel terms swirling around my brain 24/7, I had managed to climb up to a very high point along the finance learning curve. But that part of the job was not giving me any fulfillment. Instead, it was the stories, visions and values of our clientele - badass, trailblazing, rising founders - that was drawing me further and further in.

These were founders who were building solutions that filled the gap between the need for innovation and the lack of it from industry incumbents. People whose drive to push boundaries and question the status quo, fascinated me.

It wasn’t long before I came down with a very, very strong urge to peel the “curtain back” and understand what drove these people to do what they did. I dropped the hat of banker and dawned a new one - the hat of an operator — where I could get knee-deep into the trenches and see how the different pieces of a business come together to create something of true value.

When I saw that venture capital was an avenue for which where I could help support such rising leaders realize their potential along the financial and operating fronts, I adorned my head with the Mad Hatter hat of a venture capitalist.

My aim as The Pitch Goat (baaah) is to help founders like you navigate the ups and downs of raising capital and scaling. I’m all about simplifying the venture process, offering clear, no-nonsense advice, and connecting the right dots to help make your pitching journey as seamless as possible.
